if her chinese passport expiredher visa expired, can she still get a new chinese

My friends Canadian visa has expired, and her chinese passport has expired as well. Can she still renew a new passport in China Embassy in Canada. Pls advise.

Your friend will face some problems when he renew her Chinese passport in China embassy in Canada, maybe the embassy will issue her a Travel Document of People's Republic of China and ask her to leave Canada. She will be fined by Canadian immigration.
