Which is the better route to visit from Ningbo?

Ningpo / Putuosan / Hangzhou / Ningpo or Ningpo / Hangzhou / Putuosan / Ningpo
which would be a better routing in terms of travelling time and cost? am planning a trip to Ningpo in September and would like to spend 3 days 2 nights at Putuosan and Hangzhou. Would you recommend a day trip to Putuosan or an overnight stay? Would weekends be packed with locals at Putuosan?
