About:China Visa

I and my husband will go to Macau on a day tour, our holiday in hongkong is only 6 days, is a visa required?

can we apply for a visa to go to macau for a day tour and NOT to fill in a form . Or i can fill in the form for my husband , because this trip is a surprise for our anniversary in sept.16 . He does not know about the trip. If i will ask him to sign a form for a visa to china he will know, it wont be a surprise anymore
Also can i ask how long to get a visa .. we are already booked and paid to go to hongkong on 16th of sep to the 22 sept. thank you and am looking forward to your response

If you and your husband hold Australian passport, a visa is not required for you go to Macau or Hong Kong, your husband don't need to sign the visa application form. Australian nationals are exempt from a visa to Macau for 30 days, exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for 90 days.
