Which hotel is near the Bund? Is it safe to walk to the hotel (either Magnificient or The Bund On Riverside) after a night cruise?

I would suggest Magnificient Hotel, with short walking distance to East Nanjing Road, People Square, Huaihai Road and Yuyuan Garden. It is safe to walk to the hotel after a night cruise, but it takes a few minutes I think. Although it is not far from the ferry terminal, if it is late, take a taxi.
