About:Jiankou Great Wall

How to go to Jiankou Great Wall?What bus doesn't exist?

I really want to hike this area, the pictures look amazing. Does the 916 bus take you to Huairou? And from there you have to take a taxi? How much was the taxi? Did you follow the A or B directions?

Both bus no.916 and 936 (branch) can take you to Huairou from Dongzhimen. If taking 916, please get off at Huairou First Hospital where there are buses to Jiankou; if taking 936 (branch), you should get off at Yanxi Huandao, then transfer to another bus to Jiankou. No need to take a taxi from Huairou to Jiankou in deed. Of course, you can also take a taxi for saving time, it costs about CNY80-100 for a single way.
