About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I am a Canadian currently working for an American Company in Singapore on an EP pass. Where can I apply for a China visa if I will go from Canada?

I need to Travel to China for Business and I have a Letter of Invitation, but I do not have an Itinerary because I am not exactly sure of the Travel dates. As well, when I do Travel it will most likely be from Canada not Singapore. Can I still apply for a Visa if I do not have the Itinerary and where is the best place to Apply, at the Embassey or at CVASC, 22 Malacca Street?

If you want to apply for a China business visa, itinerary is not required, you can just apply with your invitation letter, and Round-trip airline tickets either in Canada or Singapore. It is ok to get it done in Canada if time permits and you will go from there. BTW, if you will get your visa processed in Singapore, through Chinese embassy or CVASC, you need to make an appointment first at their website, and then, visit there on an appointed date.

Jeff,
I went to CVASC today and the lady told me: where I was a Canadian and appling for a Chinese Visa in Singapore, I would require a Itinerary and a Letter of Invitation directly from the Chinese goverment.

I am going back to Canada at the end of the month, I will apply from there to see if it easier...tks
