There are two schedule ferries running from Hong Kong Airport to Guangzhou Nansha Port. However, the port is located a little far from downtown area. Alternatively, there are frequent coaches departing from HK Airport to downtown Guangzhou directly, taking only around 2.5 hours. You could get the detailed bus schedule on the official website of Hong Kong Airport.

The best choice should be taking a coach from Hong Kong Airport to Guangzhou:)
