how to choose the window seat

I want to know that my gf booked a ticket through travel agent from Shenyang to dallas. But forgot to ask about the seat, she wants window seat so how to choose that?

She can choose the seat by telling the staff her requests when getting the boarding pass at the business service counter at the airport. Or, she can contact the airlines in advance to consult if they have seat choosing service online. So far as I know, China Southern airlines have such service.
