We will be in Beijing soon and plan to visit the Badaling Great Wall. Can anyone advice how to get there from downtown Beijing?

Generally, two ways to go to Badaling Great Wall from downtown Beijing. The first one, take city bus/subway/taxi to Deshengmen Arrow Gate. There are 919 bus behind the gate. It has special line direct to Badaling. The second, use city public transportation to arrive in Xizhimen Beijing North Train Station. There are several trains everyday to Bdaling now.

From July 1st, there are six trains in the morning running from Beijing north Railway Station to Badaling. And the ticket has decreased to rmb6 by using the transportation card.
