Cool and rainless city in Aug

Hi, I would like to take a 3-4 days visit in early August in China.
Where would be best to visit during this season? to avoid rain and extreme heat?

Hi, most China cities are hot and rainy in Aug, since it belongs to summer and rainy season. Maybe you can try Hohhot, where the weather is relatively cool and rainless in Aug.
