About:Marriage Registration in China

What to do when a already married US citizen married a Chinese citizen in China.

NO divorce papers. Affidavit of Single Status would be false. What are the repercussions? Is marriage already considered illegal or invalid? how to prove?

If you don't have divorce papers and Affidavit of Single Status, it is impossible for you to make marriage registration in China. The marriage with a Chinese citizen is considered illegal or invalid.

Thank you Lena. There is a marriage certificate in the US as well as a Redbook showing marriage registration in China.
