Places to visit on theway from Lhasa back to Beijing?

Hello,We are visiting bejing,lhasa from mid sep to end of sep. Will take train from bejing to lhasa. Want to know places we can visit coming back from lhasa. Direct flight from lhasa to this place and then direct to bejing back is what we need.Thank you !
