I am Malaysian born, living in Pakistan for most of my life, how can I apply Malaysian passport in Pakistan?

I am Malaysian born, living in Pakistan for most of my life, and do not hold a malay passport. At the time of my birth in 1986, the option was not available for me to attain a malaysian passport, although I have an original malay birth certificate, however recently I have been informed by the malaysian embassy in Pakistan that I am eligible to apply for a malaysian passport. Unfortunately, i dont know how to go about this matter.
I would appreciate some light shed on this .

Now, you need to prepare the following documents:
1. original Malaysian birth certificate
2. the passports of your parents
3. marriage certificate of your parents
4. residence permit of your parents in Pakistan
5. Malaysian passport application forms
6. passport photos
7. Your residence permit in Pakistan and its copy.

Then submit them in person to the Malaysian embassy in Pakistan.
