changing travellers cheques in xayar, xinjiang?

Hi, i'm going to travel to Xayar. I need to know if there is a branch office of the Bank of China where i'm able to change my American Express Travellers Cheques.

There seems no branch of the Bank of China in Xayar, Xinjiang, but I know there is Agricultural Bank of China in Xayar. You may try to go there to change your Cheques.

Thanks for the fast answer!I contacted the branch of Agricultural Bank of China in Frankfurt am Main/Germany yesterday.  A very friendly person on the other side of the phone checked it for me today. He said it's not possible to change Traveller Cheques at the Agricultural Bank of China in Xayar and recommended to try it at the Bank of China in Urumqi.
