which documents I have to provide to get a Hongkong Visa?

Hi, I'm Vietnamese, and a student of an International University in Bangkok. I'd like to travel in Hongkong on August with my friend, around 5 days. We booked the tickets ( round trip ) and hotel in Hongkong already. So, which documents I have to provide to ask for Visa? Thank you !

You can apply for visa directly from Hong Kong Immigration Department or from the Chinese Embassy over your area of residence in Bangkok. If go through Chinese embassy, the embassy will deliver the visa according to the reply from Hong Kong Entry Affairs Office. Other documents you need to prepare are:
1. Your passport which should be valid for more than 6 months.
2. One completed Hk application form affixed with one passport-sized photo.
3. Sometimes, you are required to provide a bank statement with receipt if possible, it should be proof that cover your travel expense in HK.
