About:China Great Wall

Badaling Great Wall

I read from some travel reviews that Badaling Great Wall has south and north two sides. Is the highest point of the north side Hero Tablet? Which side is more interesting to tour? Can both of them be reached by cable or pulley?

A Hero Tablet was once set up on the highest point of the North Side of Badaling Great Wall in 2008. But it is not there anymore. You could read a travel review about it: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china_great_wall/reviews.asp?rid=2538&op=detail&id=1234&pid=2578
Only north side can be reached by cable and pulley and it is more interesting than south side.

Yes, people usually climb the north side of Badaling Great Wall. But if time permits, you could tour the south side as well. There are less tourists on the south side.
