chinese silk brand validation...

Question

i bought a duvet and pillow cover set sold as silk at a shopping mall (pearl city) today, the girl who sold it swore it as silk and the box had the name called SHINING Classic Collection, the material is quite heavy and is colorful, i wonder if this is real Chinese Silk.  I tried to search for this SHINING Brand on the website and nothing seems to come.  Could you please help me know how can i verify if that indeed is silk as i paid over 1200 RMB for it.  The original marked price was 2400.  Thanks

Silk material have luster. You say it heavy, perhaps it is brocade? Printed color or the colors from embroidery decoration. If they are reall and in good quality, the price is fine. You may ask for a local who know this when you are still in Beiijing now. You went to the Hongqiao Pearl City nearby the Temple of Heaven I guess?!
