About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

China Transit Visa .

Ni hao,

I am a student travelling to the USA and I have a 6 hour layover at Beijing airport. I have some people there who can give me a quick tour of the city. Is it advisable for me to get a transit visa? What will it cost? What is the procedure? How long may it take to arrive?

Thank you.

Yes, you can apply for a transit visa in advance through Chinese embassy in Islambad. It is easy and requires less documents such as a valid visa of the third country (original and photocopy); and your confirmed through ticket to the third country, for you to US via China (original and photocopy) beside passport, application form for China with photo. Pakistani ordinary passport holders are exempted from Visa fee and visa processing normally takes 4 working days.
