if can work and study if i already have this China residence permit for study?

I got accepted in a c9 university and they will help me to get student visa, and in my first month, i will apply resident permit. However i also got a job offer, and i wonder if i can work and study if i already have this residency permit? So the plan is to go with student visa, apply permit, then accept the job
