suzhou silk factory tours

Question

We would like to take the train from Shanghai to Suzhou to visit the silk factory.  How do we get to the factory from the train station in Suzhou?  Are there tours at the factory in English?Thanks

From Suzhou Railway Station, you could walk to the nearby Pingmen bus terminal and take bus 102, 5, or 1 to Renmin Qiao where the silk factory is located. If this is your first time here, it is suggested that you take a taxi to get there, not far. Just tell the drive transferring you to Suzhou First Silk Factory (苏州第一丝绸厂).
