About:Hong Kong Travel

Hong Kong Trip,need advice

Hi,
We'll reached HK arnd 2pm. Is it possible for us to visit Giant Buddha+Po Lin Monastery and then go to The Peak+Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in one whole day? Pls advise, thank you very much!

For additional info, our hotel is Bridal Tea House (Yau-Ma-Tei) Hotel.

If you are energetic, it is ok to see these places upon arrival. From Hong Kong airport, you could take bus S1 to Tung Chung and then go to visit the Giant Buddha+Po Lin Monastery by Ngong Ping 360 cable car or bus 23. When the tour ends, you should return to Tung Chung and take the metro to Yau Ma Tei for hotel check in. After that, take metro to Central, and proceed to the Peak Tram Station by taxi. The wax museun may be close at night, but you could enjoy the splendid night view of Hong Kong on the Peak.

How abt if we try to reach HK in morning arnd 10am? Is it still very rush for the above mentioned journey? Is it convenience to leave our luggage in the hotel 1st before we return for check-in or got any other places that can keep the luggage? Really appreciate ur comments/advises before we visit to HK on 1st July 2011, thanks!

If you will arrive early in the morning, time will be enough for you to cover these places. Just follow my suggested itinerary. As for the luggage, upon arrival at Tung Chung, you could leave them at the CityGate Outlets here, and then proceed to the Giant Buddha.
