Hong Kong mtr or bus

hi! my family and i will be in HK for a vacation this coming July. our hotel, panda hotel offers free trip to TST. i am wondering what is the fastest or convenient way to go to TST. is thru our hotel shuttle bus or we should take MTR instead to not waste our time? please advice.

one more thing, whats the time of the last trip of MTR in hk? thanks!
