Bank statement for China visa application.

Mr, Johnnash, I am filipino who plan to apply as tourist visa,can i use d'bank statement of d person who will sponsor me as tourist in china? His foreigner there, living & have business in Guangzhou,china.Is it acceptable to the consulate? Since i dont have bank statement to show.
