About:China Work Visa

I'm in China now working as a teacher intern. My school wants to hire me. What do I need?

I've been told I need to leave the country to get my z visa. I have a signed contract for next year and also a working permit. I've been told they cannot issue a invitation letter until after I leave the country, is this true? What other documentation should I have? Thanks

Yes, that is true, you need to apply for a work visa in your home country with the work permit and invitation letter from China. Other requirements are your passport, application form with photo.
