July Weather in Taiwan.

I'm planning for a trip in July and Taiwan is one of the choice (have not pin down on which part of Taiwan yet). I do read somewhere before that July is a wet season where it will rain most of the time. Is that true? As I would be bringing a 1 year old toddler along thus this is an important concern. On top of that, is it also a typhoon prone month? Appreciate your soonest reply.

July is one of the hottest month in Taiwan with the highest temperature up to around 38℃. It is also the typhoon season offering the most activities to experience. It is in plum rain season with the most rainy days. You'd better avoid this period visiting Taiwan. Anyway, if you decide to go, better pay close attention to the weather forecast and do well preparation for the bad weather.
