Hi, My name is Craig, i am set to Marry my Chinese Girlfriend in Wuhan China, her Hometown in July,

I have received my Single Status Cert from Births, Deaths and Marriages, and it has been authenticated by the DFAT, i am about to take it to Chinese Consulate in Sydney to be translated etc, however my Girlfriend just called me and said that they will not accept the Certificate, if it says " no record ", whatever that means. Could someone please help me, as i dont know now, if i have the correct document or not, i have called the Chinese Consulate, but havent been able to get through. Could someone please advise, as my Wedding is only 4 Weeks away. Thanks Craig

Well, I think you should read the Marriage Registration in China on this webpage: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/marriage-registration.htm
You may get detailed information from it.
