baggage limit on the flight from LAX to MLA

I am going go fly from LAX to MLA Philippines but with stopover at Guangzhou this coming week. I would like to know the maximum checked in baggage limit I can bring. Thanks! There are a lot of inaccurate information on the web about china Southern's baggage policy. Thank you!

It is learned from China Southern Airlines that for international flight courses to and from the United States, each passenger with economy class ticket is entitled to a baggage allowance for two pieces of baggage, each of which is less than 23kg. In addition, the total length of three sides is less than 158cm.
