It is compulsory to have return ticket before entering China with Visa?

I have China F visa ( 180 days ) and I will enter China on 28th July 2011 from Singapore. I would like to know if It is compulsory to have return ticket before entering China with above mentioed Visa.

I heard this before, as it is new for me either, so, better prepare for a return ticket if possible.

No, its not compulsory to have return ticket. Its even not required to buy ticket while applying for visa. Just a copy of itinerary is enough. Thats how i got visa from Lithuania. I got 2 entry visa, each duration of 180 days.
