About:Chinese Embassy in Portugal

I'm Portuguese and my girlfriend s Italian, can we get a China visa in Switzerland?

I`m thinking to visit China in August with my girlfriend. I`m Portuguese and she is Italian, but we are both in Switzerland. Is it possible go to Chinese embassy in Berne, to require our visas even that we don`t have suisse nationality?

Yes, it is possible for you and your Italian girlfriend to apply China visas in Berne even though you don't have suisse nationality.

Italy, Portugal and Switzerland are Schengen countries, nationals of these three countries don't need a visa to the other two countries.

Both of you and your girlfriend should submit the below documents:
(i) For citizens of schengen-states, provide original passport remaining to be valid for at least six months from the date of application and with sufficient blank visa pages. For citizens of other countries,resident permit or local visa is needed.

(ii) One completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken passport photo (48mm*33mm) stuck on it; all the items on the application form should be completed neatly with genuine information;

(iii)If the applicant wants to stay in China for more than 30 days, he/she needs to provide hotel booking in China. If the applicant wants to apply for a visa with a number of entry more than one time, he/she needs to provide return ticket.
