About:China Visa

can one change from Chinese tourist visa to Chinese employment visa

could someone tell me if a person goes to china on a tourist visa and then finds employment can they change from tourist visa to employment visa and then get the necessary residence permits

It is almost impossible to change tourist visa directly into employment visa within Mainland China, you have to exit Mainland China to go to Hong Kong or return to your home country to apply for Chinese Employment Visa.
