About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Is it possible to get a chinese visa if I have an ARC less than six months?

If I have a through train ticket (leaving china through mongolia) is it possible to get a chinese visa with less than six months on an ARC?

No, you can not get a visa in Korea if your ARC is valid for less than 6 months. Maybe you can try to apply for a China visa in your home country by mailing back to your family all documents needed for visa application. Or, may I know your nationality that I may able to see if you are eligible to apply for a China visa in Hong Kong.
