How can I get a visa to China as a tourist for two weeks?

You need to apply for a China tourist visa from Chinese embassy or consulate over your area of residence with following documents:
1. your original passport valid for more than 6 months with at least two blank visa pages;
2. applciation form for China V2011A, it can be download from this site;
3. one passport-sized photo;
4. invitation letter from a China travel agency if you travel with their tour (either original or copy).
5. if you travel individually, you need to provide round-trip tickets and hotel reservations in China.
The regular processing takes about 4 working days, and you can start now.

China embassy in moscow and consulates in Khabarovsk, St. Petersburg and consular office in Vladivostok doesn't accept visa application by post. If you can't go to the embassy in person. you can entrust your friends or relatives to do it for you.
