How to get a Chinese visa with less than 6 months of alien card left

Hi, I want to travel in China in January 2012 but my alien card will expire in march 2012. Can I get a Chinese visa issued from the embassy in London instead (I am a UK citizen)?

yes, sure, foreign applicants in Korea are required to provide ARC valid for 6 months at least. But if you can get a China visa in UK, by your family member, it is ok.
