About:China Visa

I am travelling through Beijing on my way to Italy. My airline says I am entitled to a hotel.

Do I need a Transit Visa to go to the hotel?

If your transit in Beijing is less than 24 hours and will stay in a hotel inside the airport, no visa is required. Otherwise, you need to apply for a China transit visa in advance from Chinese embassy or consulate in your area of residence.
