About:Tsim Sha Tsui

HELLO -WE WILL BE IN DISNEYLAND,HONG KONG IN OCTOBER.

IS THERE ANYTHING TO DO/SEE (MAJOR SHOPPING CENTRES, TOURIST ATTRACTIONS ETC) AROUND THE DISNEY LAND AREA? EITHER WALKING DISTANCE OR BY TRAIN? ALSO, IS IT EASIER/CHEAPER TO GET THE TRAIN OR A TAXI FROM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO D.L HOTEL????? WE HAVE 2 KIDS (5 & 2) PLUS LUGGAGE. THANKS, ALEX FROM PERTH, AUSTRALIA

Yes, there are some other places you can go beside Disneyland, such as the Giant Buddha and Polin Monastery in Nhong Ping by Ngong Ping 360 cable. For shopping, there is Citygates Outlets in Tung Chung, the transfer place between Disneyland and Ngong Ping. They should be reached by, nothing special within walking distance. It is easier to take taxi from the airport to the hotel, but cheaper to use public tranportation. The eaiser and the cheaper ways in Hong Kong means oppsoite sides. If you take taxi, you need to take two taxis. It costs about 100-110HKD by taxi from the airport to the hotel, 5HKD for every piece of lugguage, but it is convenient.
