Pingyao and Datong

Hi! A group of 6 of us want to do a tour of Pingyao and Datong within 6 days. Is this possible? How far are they from one another? We are primarily looking at the hanging temple, yunggang grottes, Ancient city and town. Thanks

A 6-day trip will be enough to visit both Pingyao (2 days)and Datong. Everyday, there are four trains running between Datong and Pingyao, taking 7.5 to 8 hours.
