About:Chinese Embassy in France

Mr. Johnash, so US is ok, how about for Australians?

I note it asks if you are not applying from your home country (I'll be applying from France) "For applicants who are not the French Citizens, a copy of valid French Visa or French Residence Permit is also required" I obviously don't have this so just checking if actually required for an Australian traveller. Thanks in advance. Scott

Yes, in princial, "For applicants who are not the French Citizens, a copy of valid French Visa or French Residence Permit is also required", however, for Australian applicants, the rule is not strict, you can provide the entry record to France to prove your legal status in France.
