About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

hi, i seem to be perplexed on the 30 day visa? is it entry visa?

i'm a filipino i am planning to apply for a work and study program, i don't know if i'll just go ahead and apply for a student visa or enter china and apply for a temporary resident visa? what are the cost in applying for the visa?

Yes, you need to apply for a student visa to enter China, then apply for a temporary resident visa within 30 days after entry. The fee for single entry student visa is 1500 pesos. it costs about 800 RMB for one year resident visa.
