About:China Eastern Airlines

Whether transit visa is required

My mother is flying out of Kuala Lumpur to Los Angeles and will be transiting in Shanghai for about 6 hours. Does she need to apply for transit visa from Kuala Lumpur?

Normally, no visa is required if she stay in the airport for less than 24 hours and do not move out of the airport.
