Bangalore,Karnataka State is under consular jurisdiction of Consulate General of China in Mumbai, you should go to China Visa Application Service Center in Mumbai (Mumbai CVASC) to submit visa application because the consulate doesn't accept China visa application from ordinary passport holders. If you hold diplomtic, service/official passport, you can submit visa application to the consulate directly. The mailed application is not accepted by the consulate.

The Mumbai CVASC doesn't accept visa application by mail, either, you need to make online appointment for application submission through http://www.visaforchina.in/, then submit visa application to Mumbai CVASC on the appinted date. The mail back service is provided by Mumbai CVASC.
