About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

Getting a visa to enter China

Dear Sir, my husband and i live on the Gold Coast, and will be visiting Hong Kong in August, we wish to visit my husbands brother who lives in Zhongshan, can we just come to the consulate in Brisbane and fill out the forms needed for a visa, and what is the cost? and do you need a new visa to make more tha one visit in two weeks?

Do we need a separate visa to go to Macau or can use same to go to Zhongshan?

No, Mary, you are required to apply for China visas from CVASC at Level 4, 140 Ann Street, Brisbane, QLD 4000 where you need make an appointment before going at their website. For the application form, you'd better prepare beforehand since there are many sections to fill. And it can be download from this site and their official website. If you need enter China twice, you can apply for a double entry tourist vusa. Fee is AUD 98.5.

Forget to mention, you are not required visa to Hong Kong if you will stay there for less than 90 days.

You are not required visa to Macao as well if you will stay there for less than 30 days.
