About:Chinese Embasy in Jamaica

Planning to travel to Shanghai in September. What are the requirements for obtaining a visa?

What entry visa would you recommend? Must I already have purchased flight tickets or having purchased the flight tickets give more ensurance of getting a visa? Purpose of the trip is for leisure and attend a wedding. And are visa application forms available at the Embassy office or only online?

If you will enter China mainland for only once, a single entry tourist visa is enough. And sure, having purchased flight tickets give more ensurance of getting a China visa. Do not mention your purpose to attend wedding, because you may required to provide invitation letter from China. China visa application forms are available from this site and also website of Chinese embassy. You'd better download and complete it before going to the embassy.
