My new passport is non-computerized and old passport is computerized. can i get china visa?

I am from Pakistan. Pakistan embassy in Japan does not have computerized passport facility. So I got new non-computerized passport from Pakistan embassy in Japan. So I am worried if i can get china visa. My old passport is computerized. I am going china for international conference. I also have invitation letter as well as invitation letter of duly authorized unit from china.
