how to change l visa to a family visa?

i'm a teacher from kyrgyzstan. i work in China. two weeks ago my family arrived here. They have L visa but i want to change it to family visa. What I have to do? What papers are required?

You can take your family members to the local Exit-Entry Administrative Bureau to apply for family visa, please take your valid passport and valid Residence Permit of People's Republic of China, the relationship between you and your family members, such as birth certificate, marriage certificate.
