About:Chinese Embassies in Oceania

I wish to travel to China as a Tourist, arr 3rd Sept, depart 24 October. Is this possible?

I am an Australian Citizen and will be flying from Brisbane to Shanghai Return. Which Visa do I require? If Visa's are only valid for 30 days what are the requirements to allow me to stay longer?
Thankyou.

You need to apply for a tourist visa to China. General duration of China tourist visa is 30 days, but you can get it extended at local PSB within China twice, 30 days each if you need. The procedure is very similar to applying outside China. Make sure go to the Public Security Bureau (PSM) Exit and Entry Administration office for the municipality where you will be 'resident' on the night following the submission of the application. Ask at an international hotels if you are not sure where the PSB Exit and Entry Administration office is.
