About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

What kind of visa is required to visit Hong-Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Xian, Guangzhou?

I have dual citizenship - Australian and Mauritian. Is there any advantage of using one or the other passport when applying for visa? How long does it take to be granted a visa?

You'd better use your Australia passport to apply China visa. Australian passport holders are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong, Singapore. You just need to apply for a double-entry China tourist visa. It is easier to get a China visa by using your Australian passport. However, if you apply visa in Mauritius, you have to use Mauritian passport.
