About:Power Plugs / Sockets in China

can i use the British standard socket in beijing, china?

I'm afraid not, since the British standard socket is different from that of China. Meanwhile, the electricity voltage is also different.

Actually, many Chinese sockets also take a British standard plug. Most electrical shops sell extension leads which will do this. The voltage difference is not enough to be a problem.
