The taxi fare is about 25-30RMB from Beijing South Railway Station to the hotel. To Mutianyu, you can walk to the nearby subway Station, Tiananmen East or Wangfujing Station, for Subway Line 1. Then change to Line 2 to Dongzhimen Station. Get out from Exit B and walk forward till the first road cross on your left hand. Turn into the Dongzhimen Waixiejie to find the traffic hub. There is direct 936 bus to Mutianyu at around 8am. To Summer Palace: take subway Line 1 to Xiandan and then change to Line 4 to Beigongmen Station. This is the north gate, the main entrance to the Summer Palace. To Temple of Heaven, use subway Line 1 to Dongdan and change to Line 5 to Tiantan Dongmen Station, ie the East Gate of the Temple of Heaven. You can also take bus 60 from Nanheyan Station to Beijing Youlechang. Then walk 3 minutes to the east gate of the park, 4 stops.
