BOAT TO SUMMER PALACE FROM BEIJING ZOO

Hi - thanks for your info on the boat to the Summer Palace.

But I am a bit confused. I do not wish to visit the Zoo - just want to get the boat from the pier to the Summer Palace. So am wondering if its possible to just get the boat and not buy the entrance to the zoo?
