About:Traveling Cost in China

Can u please tell me the cost of living in the most expensive city in china??

I will join a company in china in upcoming month for 1 year of contract...so i want to know the average expenditure of a engineer like people in china...

The salary of an engineering in Shanghhai, the economic center of China, is about CNY4,000-10,000 per month. In Shanghai, I think about CNY3000 may allow you to live an ordinary life - transport by subway or bus, about CNY1000 for renting a small room, cooking the food yourself. If you plan to take taxis to work, rent an apartment and eating outside, I think at least CNY4000-5000 will be needed for living in Shanghai.
